i have run the audio board for early news (live) ... chyron-graphics for 'lower-third' text... 'prompter' and even 'floor-directed' (give visual cues to anchors/and point to camera they go to next... and this week I am learning to run 'master-control' board that runs taped shows and commercials. I am going to run station 'solo' on 12/14 when the rest of staff has holiday party.
